The archives of IPIX

Ipix represents one of the most impessive techniques available for property presentations and differs substantially from the commonly applied ªpanorama picture viewº. The latter one can nowadays easily be achieved with most ordinary digital cameras and play a rather secondary role when it comes to professional presentations.

Ipix is used in the German property market only in some special cases, as for high value real estate or in areas of high return expectations (sale, commercial, large scale projects etc.).

Presumably a reason for this is that Ipix technology-features cater to demanding requirements and therefore renders results very close to an actual go-see.

IPIX FEATURES :

• Pan or line of sight can be freely controled by the user
• Real time zoom lens function during turns
• A radius of 360°, horizontally and vertically
• Control of stops and speed of the pan-movement
• Different paramenter-settings allow for a choice in loading and resolutions

We have used Ipix for the first time in 2002. Admittingly: the agency MrLodge from Munich was a forerunner here. Still, our attention was focusing on the mainstream usage. Contrary to the 'classical' rentals, it was our intention from the start on to also offer 'normal' objects while still presenting them as realistic and advantageous as possible.

In any case, e-rent and MrLodge are the only brokers in the market for furnished rentals who use Ipix technology. We have had approx. 15.6000 virtual room inspections till today (year of 2008). The data bank represents the probably largest Ipix stock of the European property industry.
